Back then, it was mostly the hunter who would have a collection of their mounted kills but today, many people who don't hunt actually enjoy the animal mounts and display them through their homes.

Most any animal can be mounted and it is a practice that is conducted all over the world. It was once very popular among the elite to take hunting trips to Africa and then bring down a rhino or lion and have them mounted for them to be displayed among their collection back home.
