I have a chihuahua and I know (God willing) he will live for another long while, but I live in a rented house and I’m sure I’ll live there for 10+ years. Anyway, if it’s not my house or backyard and I can’t afford a doggy graveyard, what do I do with my dog when it dies? Please mention taxidermy if you want, but give me a basic price.

I think taxidermy is much more respectful than putting it in the damn ground and wasting the earth’s space, whether it’s with animals OR humans. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything creepy about taxidermy – I think putting something in the ground to rot or in a furnace is less respectful. It’s easy to make jokes about a taxidermized animal or human, but theres nothing wrong with that.

I am so heart broken! My good luck hamster died yesterday. I used to take her everywhere. I put her in the freezer to preserve her. I want to use taxidermy to turn her into a key chain. What is the best way to do this?
