:O asked:
Well my dog isn’t dead yet but our family really loves her and we want to have our memory of her when she dies, because she is thirteen years old. So how much might it cost for a beagle?

you can have them preserved as a mummy complete with gold plating now for about $80,000. dont know why thumbs down? this is true. you can complete all steps except gold plating for 50,000. some people spend money on cars others have their pets mummified.
Your best bet would be to call around for prices.
Open up the phone book and call away.
ewwwwwwwwwwwww sicko! if you love her so much you will have her barried in a pet cemetary. sicko sicko sicko. that like having one of your kids taxidermied!!!! ewwwwwww sicko freak! thats just gross! eww eww eww!
sorry to say this and its great you love your dog but, well thats kind of sick. i mean a dog has had a good life and i recommend that you put it to rest peacefully and not in your living room. what about keeping a collar or a lock of her fun instead? but if you feel really strongly about it i would say anywhere from 100-300$ but im not sure you can always look it up on the internet
Add: I meant fur!
A freidn did his many months ago…a medium sized dog of about 65 pounds. He paid $6,000. It is one CREEPY looking thing now.
He loves it, but I know he thinks it is kind of creepy too. He is going to try the freeze drying thing with the smaller dog to see if he can get a more “realistic” looking outcome…one that is NOT so creepy.
**And so you are aware, it is hard to find someone that does pets. Many will not because it is very hard to make them look like they did before. So start looking for someone now!!!!!!
It’s a little odd to want to stuff your dog, but to answer your question… Taxidermy is not cheap. I’d say a few hundred dollars to get a good job done. Something the size of a beagle (raccoons, foxes, badgers, etc) usually go for $400-500 or so.
